Rekindling a Partnership and Interviews

Over the last 8 months or so we have been working extremely hard to find a sponsor for our donation efforts and we were eventually going to attempt to set up our own 501C3, which would have allowed us to claim non-profit and accept the donations ourselves. Many of you may recall our past blog post about the struggle we had encountered in this entire process.

Fortunately, we experienced a sudden turn of events. We are proud to announce that we are re-associated with ESSDACK‘s Foundation for Leadership and Learning, which sponsored the cause in its laptop/library project phase (Phase 1). Most of our followers are quite familiar with this organization, which makes it all that much better. In essence, this is a blog post that is allowed to be short and sweet because that is the nature of this news. We are exhilarated by the opportunities before us, now. We are on the way to building a school for underprivileged children in Nepal, and it’s no longer a roadblock for us to receive donations to begin making this dream a reality for ourselves and the children of the SAV School. A big thank you goes out to all of our supporters who have remained at our side during this long drought of activity. We are grateful beyond what words can express.

As a side note, we would also love to share some personal interviews with the Open World leaders in the upcoming weeks. These videos will be in Q and A format with a focus on who we are and why we are involved with the cause!
